1Who we are

Zanara is responsible for the processing of personal data via this website (www.zanara.nl). If you have a question about your data, email info@zanara.nl.

2What data we process

Data you enter in the contact form: name, email address, company name (optional), subject, chosen package, style and colour, your message and, if provided, a preferred time for a call.
Technical data required to deliver the website, such as IP address and browser data in the server logs of our hosting provider.
Anonymised visit statistics: pages visited, referring site, device type and country and, where available, region or city. No cookies are set and no IP addresses are stored; visitors cannot be identified.

3Why we process that data

To answer your enquiry and schedule a call (legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a possible agreement, and your consent).
To keep the website secure and working (legal basis: legitimate interest).
To see which pages and regions attract visitors, so that we can improve the website (legal basis: legitimate interest).

4How long we keep data

Contact requests: up to 12 months after the last contact, unless an assignment results from it.
If you become a client, we keep data that is subject to the statutory tax retention obligation for 7 years.
Server logs: for as short a period as our hosting provider applies, usually a few days to a few weeks.

5Who we share data with, and who we do not

5.1

We never sell your data, to anyone. We do not rent it out, trade it or pass it on to advertisers, data brokers or any other party with purposes of their own. Your data is used only for what you left it for: to get in touch with you and to keep the website working.

We share data only with suppliers that need it to host the website, process the contact form and deliver email. Agreements on security and confidentiality are in place with those suppliers, and they may use your data exclusively on our behalf, never for themselves.

Which suppliers those are may change over time. If you want to know which parties we use at the moment, we will tell you on request via info@zanara.nl.

5.4

We do not use your data for profiling, automated decision-making or advertising, and we do not combine it with data from other sources. We also do not send you newsletters or commercial emails you did not ask for.

5.5

We hand data over to a government authority only when the law obliges us to.

If you ask the assistant on the website a question, we send that question and the conversation to the provider of the language model to generate an answer. We do not send a name or contact details with it unless you type them into your question yourself, so do not share confidential information in the chat. The conversation is kept only in your own browser until you close the tab, and it is not used to train models.

6Transfers outside the EEA

Some processors may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, this takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

7Cookies

This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. We measure visits with a cookieless statistics service that stores no personal data. We only store your language preference (cookie) and your choice of a light or dark theme (locally in your browser), so that the site opens the way you want it. No consent is required for this.

8Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access restrictions and encrypted storage.

9Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Send your request to info@zanara.nl; we respond within one month.

10Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, let us know via info@zanara.nl. We take every complaint seriously, look for a solution together with you and respond within one month.

11Customer data in our products

This privacy policy covers the website. Separate arrangements in the agreement and the data processing agreement apply to data that customers process in Zanara, custom systems, websites or a Personal OS.
